THE ASTRALPAUSE FIELD GUIDE
How to read astrology dice
You do not need to memorise astrology to begin. Read each die separately, then bring the three ideas back to your question.
These guides describe symbolic conventions in modern Western astrology. AstralPause uses them for reflection and entertainment, not as evidence about your future or someone else’s thoughts.
Read your first roll
Ask an open question
Try “What could help me approach a difficult conversation?” Keep the focus on your own choices.
Name the three pieces
Read the planet, sign and house number facing upward. Look up any unfamiliar symbol below.
Make a sentence
Explore [planet theme], with [sign approach], in [house area]. This is a starting point, not a fixed answer.
Bring it back to daily life
Write one possible connection to your question. If it does not fit, leave it; there is no need to force a meaning or roll until it agrees with you.
See the pieces come together
WORKED EXAMPLE · NOT A PERSONAL READING
♀︎ · ♎︎ · 7Venus in Libra, house 7
Connection + balance + partnerships
For a question about friendship, explore whether giving and receiving feel balanced. Write down one thing you appreciate and one thing you would like to discuss.
WORKED EXAMPLE · NOT A PERSONAL READING
☿︎ · ♍︎ · 3Mercury in Virgo, house 3
Communication + attention + everyday conversations
For “How can I explain my idea?”, try reducing your message to one clear sentence and checking which detail the listener needs first.

♄︎ · ♓︎ · 5Saturn in Pisces, house 5
Structure + imagination + creativity
For a creative project, consider a small container for play: ten minutes of drawing without judging the result. Structure and imagination can work together.

A few things worth knowing
Is this my birth chart?
No. A dice roll is a random combination. It does not calculate your birth chart, current planetary positions or a full horary chart. You do not need birth details.
Does the sign have to be my own?
No. The sign you roll gives an approach to explore. It is not a label for your personality or the other person in your question.
Can a roll tell me when something will happen?
A roll does not establish a date, outcome or another person’s feelings. Try asking what you can notice, discuss or choose instead.
Are practice rolls and AI readings the same?
No. Practice rolls are unlimited and do not generate an AI reading. The free AI reflection has a daily allowance and shared capacity limits. These guides are free to read without an account.
Now give the symbols a little space.
Practise a roll, or bring an open question to your daily AI reflection.
